Comet came back to us after 2 days of sedation with this lovely cast! It's HUGE! I guess that's what you get when you go to the vet in Mexico! Ha! Oh, the silver part on the bottom is Duct tape. They put it on to try to keep it dry and protected on the bottom. See, anything can be fixed with Duct Tape. Doesn't he look like he has a raquetball raquet on his leg? Poor guy! Is it okay to have family and friends sign the cast? Wouldn't that be funny!? (Just like my kids, I use this poor animal for my own entertainment! It's an illness I tell you!)
He doesn't even seem to notice it. He runs all over, goes on walks, and jumps on Chance as if he were 100%. Dogs are very adaptable. He's still a sweet, loving little puppy. He crawled right in my lap when I was sitting down on the floor.

It totally looks like a tennis racquet. Poor guy :)
I totally want to sign it. That would be so funny! I'm glad he is up and about.
I feel his pain. Only he seems to be doing much better than I am and it's been 18 months since my break. He runs? Wow. Does he limp?
Oh, Diane, he just drags that raquet along where ever he wants to go. Coming down the stairs is rather comical (that's why I call him upstairs so much ... just to watch him fall down). Ha!
It seriously looks like you went to mexico for the vet! The cast is huge, poor thing. Which bone did he brake?
Poor Puppy! You need to ink up Chance's paw and put a paw print on it! oh no! I'm as mean as you! :)
I am so glad that your dog is ok. And why shouldn't you write about him more than your kids, he is new to your family, they've been there a while and really pre-teens are not as cute as puppies. *Wink*
